NP-FH50 is the smallest batteriy in the Info-"H" series NP-FH50 NP-FH70
and NP-FH90.
CABLE Please note that this battery uses a cable to attach
to the DC jack on your camcorder. It slides into battery compartment
perfectly but it will also need a cord to operate. Sony has made very
complicated circuitry inside their "H" batteries, and are charging a lot
for their batteries as a result. This cable allows to use simplier circuitry
and thus deliver you more power for less money.
FH50 is rated about 2 hours, FH70 around 4 hours, and FH90
around 6-8 hours. Hours vary and depend on LCD and zoom usage.
FH50 is the smallers and lightest. FP90 is the largest and heaviest.
For average user FH70 is highly recommended over FH50 or FH90.
Most on-stage events run longer than 2 hours and an FH50 will not be enough.
